Over 20 years ago, I began my journey to social media marketing in what today might seem an unconventional approach – I majored in marketing! For years afterwards, I directed the creative process and built campaigns for major brands and by my early 30s, I was running a boutique web design agency.
With a lot of work and hustle, eventually I founded my own digital marketing agency called Merge Forward and by my third year of business, I was working with Fortune 500 companies and making well over six figures – all while parenting two vivacious little kiddos as a single parent.
I owe a lot of my success to social media. The moment I started to tell my story, share my expertise and post consistently, friends, colleagues and clients noticed which brought on a huge wave of business.

My Start was anythiNG but easy

About 10 years ago, my life took a hard-right turn. With a surprise divorce, I suddenly found myself raising a four-year-old little girl and a three-month-old baby boy as a single parent – having to move out and find a new job all within a few weeks was devastating but I didn’t let that stop me from building the life I wanted for me and my kids.
I took on a corporate job but I longed being an entrepreneur and missed the flexibility. So I decided to start my own business and even though it was scary, there is a sort of power in taking a leap – even if you don’t know exactly where you will land. So I leaped! And it’s been the best decision I ever made!!

Today my business is thriving! At first, it was a bit of a struggle trying to connect to potential customers and I wasn’t getting the results I wanted through traditional marketing. And between us, I am not a natural born seller.
The moment I realized I needed prospects to get to know me and to trust me in order to close the sale, I took to social media. I began creating consistent content that was authentic and engaging.
I started to get noticed and clients were referring me to their contacts. I was no longer having to beg for work and my sales went up exponentially!
Social Media became vital to my business growth and my customers. And now I share my knowledge and experiences and teach entrepreneurs how to have the same success in their business.
